After a long and fruitful career in the tooling industry, Mark Doré has announced that he will be retiring at the end of the year. Mark joined MTG at the end of 2019 as International Sales Manager, with the main goal of building a first-class distributor network throughout Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and beyond.
In January 2020, he hit the ground running, but as we all know, the Covid-19 global pandemic hit in March, cancelling travel plans and complicating the jobs of many, including Mark. Nonetheless, he pivoted brilliantly and took advantage of these travel restrictions by working remotely and communicating with distributors and customers via mobile phone, Microsoft Teams, and email. By doing this, Mark successfully trained and onboarded several top-notch distributors during a time when things were globally unstable. When the economy began to recover from the toll of the pandemic in the summer and fall of 2020, we began to see the fruits of his labor and so far in 2021, sales in the territories managed by Mark have grown beyond where they were before he started with us! In fact, sales are even better than years prior to 2019! Mark has done a fantastic job, exceeded our expectations, and has touched many of our customers during his brief time at MTG and throughout his career at Bencere Ltd and Mollart Engineering.
